"Being from Florida, I wanted to go to Texas in the spring to get a chance to catch a big largemouth and to catch smallmouth. Prior to my flying out I noticed a cold front moving into Texas, but I went anyway knowing the chances of catching a largemouth of lunker weight would be almost out of the question. When I arrived the weather had just started to deteriate. The first morning we went out it was 41 degrees and windy.

I told Bob if this was Florida you might as well stay in bed. He said, “no problem we'll catch em” and we did do that - throwing crankbaits and rattletraps. We caught smallmouths & largemouths all day. If I was’nt there I would have never believed it. I had a great time.

Bob was a great guide. He made what I thought was going to be a waste of a vacation into a great trip. I would recommend Bob to anybody that wanted to go on a guide trip and catch fish - not just talk about it. He could of easily said “look it’s too cold, let’s wait and see what the weather does”, but he didn’t and we went and we caught fish. Bob, thanks – can’t wait till next year."
